Regular Season Round 24: Seoul Thunders - KCC Egis 86-72

There was a minor upset when 7th rankedEgis (10-16) lost to ninth ranked Samsung Thunders (8-17) in Seoul 72-86 on Monday. Seoul Thunders looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The winners were led by the former international guard Seong-Mo Choi (183-1994) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 14 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and naturalized American guard Justin Gutang (191-1997, college: Skyline JC) supported him with 14 points and 7 assists. Four Samsung Thunders players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 7 rebounds by American swingman Deonte Burton (193-1994, college: Iowa St.) did not help to save the game for KCC Egis . Hohyun Lee added 18 points and 7 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Seoul Thunders maintains ninth position with 8-17 record. KCC Egis lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 16 games lost.
